For over 5 years, we lived and breathed Tanzanian tourism. Born and raised in Tanzania, as local operators we were the ones behind the scenes—managing the lodges, coordinating the fleets, and attracting clientele.

We saw the magic of the Serengeti every day, but we also saw the gaps. We saw how easily a “dream trip” could become a “transaction,” and how the soul of a safari could get lost in a rigid itinerary.

We spent our evenings under the same stars you see in our brochures, dreaming of something different. We didn’t want to just work for a safari company; we wanted to build a legacy.

We envisioned a company that treated the Serengeti like a home, not a showroom.

We wanted to create a space where guides were empowered to follow their instincts, where travelers felt like old friends rather than “clients,” and where every booking directly fueled the communities we grew up in.

Serengeti Sarabi Safaris is the result of those midnight conversations. It’s the culmination of every lesson we learned on the dusty roads of the Northern Circuit and every sunrise we witnessed while the rest of the world was asleep.
